Who We Are
From the desk of Chris Stevens, Director of Athletics:
Athletics teaches those involved many life lessons that would not otherwise be learned. It develops positive characteristics that are valuable throughout life such as teamwork, integrity, commitment, discipline, dedication and selflessness. The objective of the Immanuel Eagle athletic programs is to provide an incredible high school experience that draws all those involved closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and become better people as a result of being around the games.
I would like to thank each coach involved in the Immanuel High School Athletics Program for his/her commitment and dedication to making our programs a success. We are fortunate to have a solid group of coaches who are making a tremendous impact on the lives of young men and women. As the Director of Athletics, I pledge to continually strive to help each person associated with our teams to reach his/her goals and objectives. I believe the essence of any relationship (personal or professional) is based on trust and I will strive to earn and maintain yours.
Our Coaches must ensure that we are serving as positive role models for our student athletes. This is the difference between being a “transactional” staff or a “transformational” staff. If we expect them to do the "right thing"... so must we according to Biblical principles.
To serve our Lord Savior by using the talents and abilities He has given to us.
To prepare our players to be outstanding members of society and make positive contributions towards our community.
To positively impact Immanuel Schools.
To prepare our athletes for success on and off the field/courts.
To protect and enhance the physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual welfare of every individual involved with our program.
